Jono Cook
Senior Leader

Jono has lived in Invercargill all his life, except for a couple of short stints to further train with Youth for Christ and Lifeways Bible College in the early 90s. Sarah and Jono were married in 2001 and have three girls. He has been involved in ministry since the age of 17, including roles in Youth for Christ Southland and youth pastoring in Invercargill. Jono has been with the Church@ (formerly Otatara Community Church) for just over 7 years and served as Associate Pastor for 2 years before taking over from David & Robyn as Senior Leader.

David & Robyn Elder
Pastoral Care

David was raised in Invercargill while Robyn grew up in the Waikato. They met while both working in the fashion/clothing industry in Auckland and later got married in 1979, a year after joining the Mairangi Bay Presbyterian Church. After becoming Christians in 1981, they worked together in youth ministry for 6 years. Throughout the '80s they underwent training for pastoral ministry in a local church environment. Since their ordination in 1991, they have pastored at North Shore New Life Fellowship and then Bethel New Life Invercargill (now Cornerstone New Life Church).

David and Robyn have three children who are married and living in Auckland, Nelson and Invercargill. They are delighted to have 7 grandchildren that complete their family. Their passion is to see the people of God healed, restored, trained and equipped to bring the heart of Jesus into our communities and nation.

Alis Tressler
Youth Pastor

Alis and Aaron joined Church@ 4 years ago after moving back from Queenstown. Aaron is a builder and runs a building business together with Alis. They have two children and love the outdoors and anything that has a motor.

Alis has been involved in youth leadership for a number of years at their previous church. In late 2021, she was offered the role of Youth Pastor here at Church@. Alis and Aaron bring to our team a heart for the young people in the Church@ community and our city.

Judith Snoek
Office Administrator

Judith has just recently joined our staff as office administrator. She and Richard joined Church@ in 2020 and live locally here in Invercargill. She comes from a nursing background, while her husband Richard works in management at NZ Aluminium Smelter. They have three children and love doing outdoor activities like camping and hiking as a family. Her role in office management and financial administration is a vital one; keeping her finger on the pulse to make sure everything's healthy and under control.
